‘Walk These Streets’ is an exhibition of works by illustrator Marc Martin inspired by his travels in Taiwan. The series of watercolours explores the corners of a lush and overgrown cityscape reclaimed by nature.

Marc’s deserted laneways, streets and apartment blocks harbour flickers of human life, observing the new rhythms of a once-frenetic place gone quiet.


Rich with the colours of a subtropical climate, they imagine a world where nature takes over the urban landscape, where stray animals are free to roam, and empty streets invite the viewer to wander within.
